RAY MIDDLE SCHOOL
LIBRARY & LEARNING COMMONS
RAY NEWS
In March of 2023, three 7th grade Ray Middle School students created a concept for a television news broadcast here at Ray Middle School under the moniker 'Ray News: Bringing the People of Ray the News They Deserve.' Utilizing creativity, persistance and hard work these three students laid an impressive foundation & produced a lot of laughs with a pilot of 'Ray News' and two additional episodes. The requests to return for 'Season Two' were overwhelming. Ray News represents a new opportunity for students to pursue at Ray Middle School.

WELCOME TO OUR LIBRARY
OUR STUDENTS
Above all, a library must meet the needs of its users. Ray Middle School is home to approx. 850 students and they are the heartbeat of the library and the core of every decision made and service offered.
OUR VISION
The Ray Middle School Library is a collaborative environment that ignites and invites participatory learning. We strive to be the center of engagement in the school and a place of shared ownership. The learning spaces within the library are dynamic and flexible to encourage experimentation, exploration, construction and research.
